Our name, Douri, comes from the Arabic word for “sparrow.” The sparrow is a small but resilient bird, thriving across the world. For us, it symbolizes adaptability, hope, and the spirit of togetherness. Like the sparrow, we stand for freedom of expression and unity, while speaking out against discrimination, inequality, and violence.

We also care deeply for our planet. Raising awareness about ecological and environmental challenges is at the heart of our work, because we believe that caring for each other also means caring for the world we share.

From visual art, music, and social theatre to performances, workshops, books, and community gatherings, our projects are created to inspire connection and spark dialogue.
