Atelier Up-Recycling, a collaborative initiative by Douri with the invaluable support of our esteemed partners, Paserell A.S.B.L, and RYSE Luxembourg (Refugee Youth Support and Empowerment), has been successfully launched. This project, co-funded by the European Commission, aimed to provide participants with a unique opportunity to delve into the world of textile recycling.
During the engaging workshop, participants, guided by our experienced facilitators, transformed old, used clothes into beautiful and distinctive pieces.
The "Atelier Up-Recycling" not only fostered creativity but also equipped participants with essential design and sewing techniques. Under the guidance of seasoned experts, participants gradually honed their skills until they were capable of independently crafting one-of-a-kind clothing items.
Through "Atelier Up-Recycling," we are not only promoting sustainable practices but also empowering individuals by imparting valuable skills and fostering a sense of community.
This workshop is a part of the LEILaW project - Listen, Exchange, Inform on -human rights- Law for Women, co-funded by the European Commission, together with our partners at Paserell A.S.B.L and RYSE Luxembourg (Refugee Youth Support and Empowerment).
