Porte-Voix is a multidisciplinary participatory project, that aims to give a voice to people who have been left out of the spotlight. The project poses a fundamental query: How do you tell your story under the guidance of professional artists?
The main activity is the creation of a photographic film, including writing workshops, sound creation workshops and photography workshops. The film brings together ten portraits of individuals representing the cultural diversity of Luxembourg, and will be released in 2024.
Empowering participants aged 16 and above, hailing from immigrant backgrounds, Porte-Voix is shepherded by four accomplished artists: Lénaïc Brulé, Alborz Teymoorzadeh, Annah Schaeffer, and Jean Puibaraud. These mentors guide the participants in expressing themselves artistically and contributing significantly to the film's creation.
The event is supported by the National Relief Work Grand Duchess Charlotte (Œuvre Luxembourg), Cliché - Société en migration and Bâtiment4, with the help of Les Nuits de la Culture and Douri ASBL.
